Our Sunday Worship service: 9:30 a.m.
We use contemporary worship songs along with an occasional traditional hymn in our Sunday morning celebrations. Our songs are mostly directed to God, expressing a desire to touch the very heart of God. Some may express worship through lifting of hands, kneeling, standing, clapping, and a with moments of vocal praise, as well as quiet meditation. No one should ever feel compelled to respond physically to peer pressure in worship. Rather, all of us are free to respond individually to God in physical expression of worship.
We participate in communion together once a month during the service as well.
We also worship God by learning His truth from the Bible and applying it to our lives. Pastor Bruce Vernon and other teachers at the Vineyard strive to present the Bible in a relevant way for you so you can better understand God’s Word.
Often, at the end of the message there is a ministry/prayer time. People are invited to come forward for prayer for any needs they may have or simply to respond to the message. Trained members are available to pray with those that come forward.
